Lost horizon in vr
Lost Horizon was born in the metaverse during lockdown and first launched as a global virtual reality venue, with a two day, four stage festival to 4.36 million people, featuring virtual versions of real life Shangri-La stages including SHITV and the Gas Tower. Since then the world’s largest virtual reality music and arts venue has launched an IRL venue, with hybrid VR capabilities.
DIGITAL TWIN
Lost Horizon is the world’s first fully hybrid venue with an exact digital twin capable of replicating performances into VR in real time.
Our first hybrid shows are coming soon, but for now, you will be able to visit our virtual worlds via a mini VR hub within our real life venue.
GAS TOWER

The home of Shangri-La’s very own digital revolution IRL can now be experienced for the first time in VR.

The FREEDOM arena is the digital twin of the beloved Truth Stage at Shangri-La. An ever-evolving creation and global collaboration.

Representing our past, present and future, NOMAD pays homage to the counter-culture and free party movement Shangri-La was born and raised from.
Sound system culture has always forged new sounds and brought communities together against all odds.
We wanted to create an authentic digital space for sound system culture... and here it is, evolving with every show, every crew and every artist that graces the Nomad stage.
